About
Engineering at scale
Software Engineer at a cloud consultancy building serverless and event-driven systems on AWS. I deliver modernization and migration projects for clients - shipping scalable cloud-native architecture in agile environments.
Cloud Engineering
Building and modernising cloud-native systems on AWS - serverless architectures, CDK infrastructure, and large-scale migration projects for enterprise clients.
Full Stack Development
From Next.js frontends serving content from headless CMSes to backend services and distributed pipelines - comfortable across the full stack.
Beyond the Screen
Trail running, climbing, and endurance sports. The same discipline that goes into a long run goes into building reliable systems.

Cloud Engineer
A cloud consultancy focused on serverless and event-driven architectures. Delivering modernization and migration projects for clients by building scalable AWS-based cloud-native systems, implementing infrastructure as code, and developing distributed backend services in agile consulting environments.
- Led development of an internal CDK constructs package for an enterprise client to enforce best practices and standardization across teams
- Modernised legacy AWS infrastructure from a mix of Terraform and Serverless framework to AWS CDK
- Maintained legacy AWS infrastructure serving 80,000 requests a minute daily
- Migrated a catalog service from Azure to AWS, leading the database refitting from Cosmos to Postgres
- Modernized 44+ pages of a European Airlines frontend using Next.js and Tailwind, serving content from a headless CMS (Contentful)
- Co-led development of an AWS X-Ray tracing tool to provide visibility into feature latency impact
Projects
Selected work
Side projects I built to scratch my own itch - each one started as a problem I had and couldn't find a good solution for.

I wanted a better way to look back at my running — Strava's own UI buries the data I actually care about. Built a personal dashboard that pulls my activity history via the Strava API and visualises it the way I want to see it.

I wanted a dead-simple way to dump photos from my phone to S3 without going through Google Photos or iCloud. Built a minimal PWA that uploads directly to S3 via presigned URLs — no middleman, no compression, just my files in my bucket.
Skills
Tools & technologies
The stack I work with most. Focused on the backend and cloud, with enough frontend to ship full products.
